Spencer Toyama(Left) and Jason Sewell(Right). Co-founders of Sudokrew Solutions LLC

We recently had an interview with Spencer Toyama, co-founder of Sudokrew Solutions LLC, a company looking to solve technology problems for businesses. Spencer has an interesting story and a meandering path through the music industry and education before landing in tech. He shared with us some of the cool projects Sudokrew was able to do here in Hawaii including Island Pulse, which displays real-time islandwide energy usage, and how they're addressing the "brain-drain" problem in Hawaii.

We also touch on the small but ambitious tech startup community here in Hawaii and how important it is for local companies to expand their business horizon beyond our sandy shores and into the global market. So give us a listen, and send Spencer some crazy ideas that might just change the world.

Our book pairing for this episode can be found on our Books! page. Don't worry, it's not a sudoku puzzle book but maybe it should be.
